30 days of thankfulness

I saw on facebook, blogspot, twitter that alot of folks are doing 30 days of thankfulness.
So I joined in too. Here is my two posts so far and will add to this everyday.

Day 1:Today I am thankful for surviving the flood,I am thankful that everyone survived it and that no one died. Its been so hard on everyone and I continue to pray for those who lost so much.

Day 2 I am thankful for having water cut on,since the flood they have been cutting it off for long amounts of time.So being able to turn on the faucet to wash dishes, cook, clean is a blessing.

Day 4: I am thankful for people with jobs, because without the truck drivers we wouldn't have food, clothes, etc delivered to stores daily.Without the farmers no food.Without cashiers at stores we wouldn't be able to buy it.The list of thank you's to people with every job goes on and on from plumbers, mechanics, carpenters down to the people at the landfill.I am very thankful for all of them and appreciate them very much.I'd love to thank them for their time.

Day 5: I am thankful to those who are actually there for their family & friends. So many people feel alone especially on holidays. I understand people get busy. But when being busy turns into years all they have left is memories of you.So if you have any free time call them, write them, send a card imagine how happy it would make them to get something else in the mail other then a bill or get a call that's not a bill collector or death in the family. So thank you lord for people that are their for their families and friends.
